WHO WE ARE:
A 501c3 organization that believes in some simple but big things
1. YOU ARE A CREATIVE. All people are creators and our quality of life improves when we are able to embrace the creative parts of ourselves.

2. ACCESS TO ART. Art should be accessible to all people. Exposure to art allows for new experiences, sharing in culture, building connections, asking new questions, and building in thought.

3. GERMANTOWN ARTISTS. Whether born and raised, long-time resident, studio holder, or community regular, there are countless creatives that call Germantown home. We are in a cultural renaissance that is proving that Germantown is where the history makers of tomorrow are today.
HOW YOU CAN HELP
We need support to continue doing what we do: Connecting artists to the community, providing accessible art to the community, and encouraging creativity.
GAD Fourth Fridays will always offer free arts engagement opportunities - AND it is important that we are able to compensate
artists for their work and time. For reference, here are some quotes we have covered so far.

A band performing for 2 hours typically ranges from $100/per person/per hour to $300/per person/per hour
​
A DJ set for a FF event ranges from $100/hr - $200/hour
​
A Vocalist fee for a fifteen-minute set - $150
​

GAD Fourth Fridays will always offer free arts engagement opportunities - AND it is important that we are able to do so at a level of excellence that reflects the value of the artists. For reference, here are some consistent materials we currently rent or borrow or go without, but could benefit from owning:

A GENERATOR. Our activation of Market Square Park is something we hope to continue to do. Help us power the park with our own generators.
​
LIGHTING. We are looking to provide adequate lighting for our night markets. We all feel better when we can actually see the art.
​
PERMENANT SIGNAGE. It is important people know where to go for all these cool activities. We would love to make events, partners, and activations easier to find.
​
SOUND EQUIPMENT. Quality Microphones, PA Systems, sound Monitors, and more.
