PURPOSE
The Germantown Arts District was formed to highlight Germantown as an Arts & Culture destination. We work to support artists and businesses by fundraising for arts-based initiatives centralized in Germantown, supporting artists and local businesses in hosting creative programming, and creating opportunities for engagement with the arts in Germantown through events.
PROJECTS
The Germantown Arts District prioritizes creativity and synergy in community engagement. We offer access to resources through membership in hopes of making art accessible throughout Germantown. Beginning Summer 2023 the GAD will partner with artists + businesses for Fourth Friday events, and host the inaugural Germantown Arts Festival.
MEMBERSHIP
Through membership, we are able to directly celebrate the diversity of the community that fuels Germantown's Cultural Renaissance. Our memberships allow individuals and businesses to support the work of the Germantown Arts District and to take an active role in promoting arts and culture in the area. For as little as a $5 monthly contribution, you can support art in Germantown.
